About the Role

This is a part-time adjunct instructor role responsible for teaching Nurse Aide students in classroom, skills lab, and clinical settings. The instructor will deliver engaging curriculum aligned with North Carolina regulations, ensuring students acquire bedside nursing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach didactic courses, skills labs, and clinical scenarios to Nurse Aide students.
  • Ensure training activities comply with state health regulation guidelines.
  • Manage documentation for the Nurse Aide Training Program.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse student body using various teaching methods.

Requirements

  • BSN, ADN, Diploma RN, or higher nursing degree.
  • Minimum of two years of direct patient care as an RN.
  • Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN license.
  • Willingness to obtain American Heart Association Instructor Certification in Adult CPR.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in long-term care or caring for the chronically ill.
  • Familiarity with local healthcare facilities.
  • Experience teaching adult learners.

Schedule

Up to 29 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
