Adjunct- Nuclear Engineering

Position Responsibilities

This adjunct position will teach Nuclear Engineering courses. Delivery will be both in person and synchronous online delivery. The proposed courses will be from VCU’s Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering degree program.

Required Qualifications

• MS, Ph.D., or Previous Work Experience in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering or a closely related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of nuclear science, energy, and technology
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an adjunct at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of relevant academic experience
