Adjunct Music Specialist Positions (Start Date: August 17, 2026)
Compensation
$100/instructional hour
Responsibilities
- Leading beginning instructional classes for Grades 3-5.
- Conducting Middle and Upper School sectional rehearsals.
- Coaching chamber music ensembles.
- Providing high-quality private lessons.
- Participating in and supporting student performances throughout the school year.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate.
- Bachelor's degree in a related academic field or in Music Education/Teaching is preferred.

Kent Place School is seeking dedicated part-time instrumental music specialists committed to fostering a love of performance in young students within our thriving instrumental music program.
Qualifications
We are currently looking for specialists in the following areas: Upper String Specialist (Violin/Viola), String Specialist (Cello/Bass), Woodwind Specialist, and Brass Specialist.
