Responsibilities
- Teach college-level Math courses, including composition, reading, and literature
- Develop and deliver course materials aligned with ASPIRA City College standards and learning outcomes
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and course documentation
- Support the academic development of students from varied educational backgrounds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Mathematics a/o Mathematics Education or a related field, Master's degree preferred
- Teaching experience in a college, trade school, or adult education setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mathematical principles and theories
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and support skill development
