About the Role

The Adjunct Professor will teach mathematics courses within the College of Arts and Sciences at Drexel University. Responsibilities include reviewing and improving syllabi, understanding students’ needs, developing engaging lesson plans, and ensuring relevant learning resources are available. Adjuncts will also evaluate student performance and address any issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Teach the required number of credit hours per 10-week quarter.
• Hold regularly scheduled office hours in the Math Tutoring Center and meet with students outside of class as needed.
• Provide prompt, regular feedback to students about their academic performance.
• Maintain communication with the department head or course coordinator regarding any course or student issues.
• Report mid-term and final exam grades.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in a Mathematical Science or related field.
• Ability to demonstrate excellence in teaching mathematics.
