Math Adjunct

Position Summary

Apart from teaching specific courses, this position involves maintaining student attendance records and holding regularly scheduled office hours. It also includes participating in common exam proctoring and grading if assigned to a coordinated course.

Essential Functions

• Teach assigned course(s)
• Maintain student attendance records
• Hold regularly scheduled office hours
• If assigned to a coordinated course, participate in common exam proctoring and grading

Pre-Requisite Qualifications

• M.S. degree in Mathematics or Statistics or related field required
• Ph.D. preferred
• Prior teaching experience strongly preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is a plus

Compensation

$2668 per contact hour
