Study Grants & Scholarships
- Train student employees as peer trainers and research consultants
- Instruct students, faculty, and staff on DSL software and equipment
- Develop workshops, learning resources, and outreach programs
- Aid with lab operations, scheduling, inventory, safety compliance, and policies
Essential Functions
- Support faculty and student research
- Instruct and mentor student employees
- Develop and deliver programming and workshops for digital scholarship
- Manage lab operations, equipment, and resources
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with digital scholarship tools and methods
- Advanced computer skills (e.g., Python, Arduino, R)
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity with Digital Humanities methodologies (digital mapping, text mining, data visualization, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree with digital scholarship experience
- Previous experience in higher education with students
- Experience with 3D printers, laser cutters, microcomputing
- Laboratory safety knowledge and maintenance of instruments
- Familiarity with CAD software (Blender, Autodesk Fusion, etc.)
- Experience in project management
