Adjunct Lecturer - Communications and Performing Arts (College Now Program)
About the role
The College Now Program at Kingsborough Community College seeks adjunct lecturers to teach courses in the program. The following courses are available:
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the College Now Program such as HUM 1: Modern Humanities: Arts and Ideas, MCF 40: Film: The Creative Medium, MCM 30: Mass Media, and THA 50: Foundations of Theatre Arts.
- Attend professional development meetings, assessment of instruction, and related events.
Requirements
- HUM 1: Modern Humanities: Arts and Ideas - A baccalaureate or graduate degree (master's degree preferred) in Humanities, with a minimum of three years teaching experience.
- MCF 40: Film: The Creative Medium and MCM 30: Mass Media - A baccalaureate or graduate degree (master's degree preferred) in Communication, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience.
- THA 50: Foundations in Theatre Arts - A baccalaureate or graduate degree (master's degree preferred) in Theatre Arts or related field, and at least 3 years of teaching experience.
Qualifications

- MCF 40: Film: The Creative Medium and MCM 30: Mass Media - A baccalaureate or graduate degree (master's degree preferred) in Communication.

Pay
$91.67 - $98.40 per hour. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position requires additional time beyond the regular NYCPS work day.
