About the role

The Accounting & Law Division is a team of innovative, collegial, and affable colleagues who are profoundly dedicated to their craft as educators, scholars, and practitioners. Our faculty include award-winning teachers, thought leaders and community leaders. They have educated and advised a wide variety of learners, from students to budding entrepreneurs to management and executives at Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities

  • Teach accounting courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and coaching from colleagues.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • A relevant graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MSA, DBA, PhD) from an accredited university and preferably one or more professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Previous college or university teaching experience and/or practical accounting experience relevant to the course(s) being taught.

  • Passion for teaching a range of students, for developing your craft as a teacher, and for embracing new teaching innovations and technologies.

  • Knowledge of Babson College's teaching formats, including traditional semester schedules, intensive classroom experiences, evening classes, weekend classes, and online instruction.

  • Desire to develop your teaching skills and incorporate new teaching innovations and technologies.
  • Willingness to collaborate and coordinate with other faculty members.

Benefits

Babson College offers a competitive salary of $8,238 per course equivalency (CE).
