Adjunct Laboratory Instructor, Department of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Planning and supervising student laboratory & simulation learning experiences.
• Assessing student progress.
• Intentional communication with the Course Coordinator and Director, OSIC.
• Recording and reporting as required by the Department of Nursing.
• Attending meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Minimum of two years (24 months full-time equivalent) of clinical nursing experience in the United States.
  • A current unrestricted (no unresolved Board action) Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or the ability to obtain one prior to start of appointment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in nursing.
  • Simulation experience in nursing.
  • Certification as a Nurse Educator by the National League for Nursing (NLN).

Compensation

A salaried rate for each semester commensurate with highest achieved nursing degree.
