About the role
The Department of Language and Literature seeks an adjunct instructor to teach Elementary Kiswahili I and II on a semester-by-semester basis. The position involves approximately 20 hours per week over 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Elementary Kiswahili I and II
- Hold 4–8 office hours per week
- Prepare course materials and grade student assignments
Requirements
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Kiswahili
- Proven ability to teach college-level Kiswahili to English-speaking students
