Adjunct Instructors (WCPS Dual Enrollment)- Mathematics & Science

About the role

The Division of Mathematics and Science is seeking adjunct instructors for Maryland Blueprint course sections that may be potentially offered at Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) in the upcoming academic year.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and related College Algebra and Trigonometry functions.
• Teach Science courses including Anatomy and Physiology, Biotechnology/Forensic Science, Environmental Science, and General Physical Science/Physics.
• Deliver the same course-specific instructional content as taught at the main campus or online.
• Create and implement course-specific common assignments for student learning outcome assessments and grading.

Requirements

• Must be a current high school teacher with Washington County Public Schools (WCPS).
• Must meet the minimum standard for each program set forth in the Adjunct Faculty Minimum Credentials document.
