Adjunct Instructor – Specialty areas of Nursing – Pediatrics

Duties And Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise R.N. nursing students in the classroom in one of the following nursing areas: Pediatrics
• Instruct and supervise R.N. nursing students in the clinical agency.
• Function under the direction of the course faculty or Dean of Nursing for the course.
• Participate in departmental activities associated with the instructional program.
• Communicate clearly with students and colleagues.
• Work effectively with traditional and non-traditional students including but not limited to the culturally and ethnically diverse.
• Participate in professional organizations related to nursing and teaching.
• Adapt to changes in the nursing program.
• Schedule office hours as needed.

Required Qualifications

• RN with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college/university required
• Three years’ clinical experience required
