Job Responsibilities

Teach sociology courses to a diverse student body using effective teaching strategies; develop; revise; and maintain course materials; and develop/implement retention strategies.

Teaching Schedule

Teaching may be on any of the SCC and/or high school campuses; may be days, nights, weekends, or a combination; and is for face-to-face classes only.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

  • Master's degree in sociology or a Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate hours in sociology.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to teach in-person courses during the day.

  • Ph.D preferred.
