Adjunct Instructor, School of Planning, College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning
The College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati seeks adjunct faculty members to teach various courses in the School of Planning. Courses include Visualization, Representation, and Computer Graphics; Historic Preservation; Housing Systems; Introduction to Geographic Information Systems; Site Analysis and Design; Site Planning; Transportation Planning; and Urban Design.
About the Role
The School of Planning prepares professionals for distinguished practice and spatially-based approaches with a focus on livable places and community enrichment. Adjunct faculty members will teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars, serve as academic advisors, and engage in other activities supporting their responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
- Serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
- Review and respond to University-related communications in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience and documented work experience in the field related to specific course content.

Skills
