Position Summary
The School of Applied Engineering and Technology has an ongoing need for Adjuncts, each teaching up to two undergraduate courses in various engineering technology fields.
Essential Functions
- Teach one or two courses for the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters, as assigned by the appropriate Program Coordinator.
- Teach both day and/or evening sections.
Pre-Requisite Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a MS in Construction/Civil, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Medical Informatics, Manufacturing, or Surveying Engineering, or in a closely related field.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD and prior teaching experience, full-time industrial experience in a job related to CET, CIM, CMT, ECET, IET, MET, or SET.
Compensation
$2668 per contact hour. At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
