Adjunct Instructor, Politics and International Development
Palm Beach Atlantic University’s School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach Politics and International Development.
About the role
Responsibilities include instructing undergraduate and post-graduate level students, participating in department meetings and discussions, and assisting in campus events as needed. The faculty foster intellectual curiosity, open inquiry, critical thinking, the pursuit of knowledge, responsible civic engagement, and a deep understanding of the relationship of the Christian faith and reason.
Responsibilities
- Teach Politics and International Development courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels
- Participate in department meetings and discussions
- Assist in campus events as needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate-level credits in the discipline, or a Ph.D. or Juris Doctorate
- Demonstrated expertise in the discipline
- Prior collegiate-level teaching experience (preferred)
- Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community
- Demonstrated Christian commitment and ability to integrate faith into coursework
