Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate level real estate courses focusing on technology in real estate.
  • Use AI-enhanced and proptech tools to support the real estate development process, covering topics such as entitlements, design, construction, finance, due diligence, underwriting, market analysis, project management, asset management, and portfolio management.
  • Develop and deliver course content aligned with departmental goals and the direction of the Department Chair.
  • Schedule office hours and be accessible to students as needed.
  • Grade assignments and exams according to established criteria.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., MArch, MBA, MRED, MA in Economics, MS in Engineering or Construction Management).
  • Significant professional experience in commercial real estate development, investment, or proptech.
  • Prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations preferred.

Benefits

  • The hourly rate range for this position is $29.06/hr. - $38.89/hr.
  • Consideration of factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, and external market and organizational considerations.
