About the role
The Department of Counseling & Higher Education seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applications at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in counseling or counselor education program.
- Teach courses in counseling.
- Lead MASTER level CACREP core classes or electives.
- Lead UNDERGRADUATE level counseling associate studies minor program classes.
- Hold a degree in counseling from a CACREP accredited program.
- Hold a TX Licensed Professional Counselor and/or certified School counselor license.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling or related field.
- Teaching experience in counseling or counselor education program.
- Teaching experience in counseling.
- MUST hold a PhD in counseling or related field.
- MUST hold a Master's degree in counseling or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TX Licensed Professional Counselor and/or certified School counselor, TX LPT-Supervisor.
