The School of Education is seeking candidates to teach in the credentialing program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The SOE has open positions for qualified individuals to teach credentialing courses, such as Language Arts in the Elementary School, Curriculum and Instruction in the Secondary School, and Psychological Applications in Education, in both face-to-face and online formats.

About the Role

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in education or a related field, a California Clear Credential, significant K-12 classroom teaching experience with expertise in reading instruction, curriculum, assessments, or teacher mentoring, and familiarity with Teaching Performance Expectations. Experience with online instruction is desirable.

Develop curriculum and teach a credentialing course as assigned
Develop course assessments that align to Teaching Performance Expectations
Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content
Work with a diverse student body population
Contribute to the work of the School of Education team as requested by the Dean
