Adjunct Instructor, Nursing
Responsibilities
Provide exemplary instruction in the didactic, simulation lab, and clinical areas of teaching
Participate in mentoring and role modeling for nursing students
Collaborate with the Clinical Placement Manager for appropriate and optimal student placement
Partner with the Clinical Simulation Manager to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical scenarios within the simulation laboratory environment to optimize student learning outcomes
Required Qualifications
- An Illinois license as a Professional Registered Nurse
- A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Two years of current nursing practice experience
- Current clinical practice in one or more of the following: Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Community Health nursing, Mental Health, and/or Medical/Surgical nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- A Doctoral degree
- Evidence of undergraduate teaching excellence

Pay and FLSA Status
Salary: $1,400 - $6,000. The actual pay is determined based on credentials, experience, course level, and credit hours.
FLSA Status: Exempt, Part-Time
