Adjunct Instructor, Midwifery Program (Hourly/Part-Time)

About the Role

The Midwifery Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor for the Fall Semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach the following courses for the Fall Semester:
  • NRMW 5116 Advanced Pathophysiology & Primary Care
  • NRMW 5408 Advanced Comprehensive Health Assessment
• Conduct curriculum development and dissemination
• Grade written assignments as well as both written and practical examinations

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Midwifery, Public Health, or Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of classroom teaching experience
• 5+ years full-scope clinical midwifery practice
