Adjunct Instructor, Medical Assisting - (H)

About the role

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices.
• Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.
• Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
• Affirmatively assist students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher and Minimal two (2) years’ work experience in the field and appropriate current industry certification /licensure to include at least one of the following: NCMA (NCCT) taken after November 30, 2010 CCMA (NHA) taken after January 30, 2011 CMAC (AMCA) taken after October 8, 2015
• Knowledge Of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
• Utilize Canvas Learning Management System and other instructional technologies
• Ability To Interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work a fluctuating schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Standard hourly rates vary based on the assigned course level and educational credentials.
