Adjunct Instructor - Med-Surg

Pay

$51.94 / hour

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required; a Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• If a Master's Degree is not held at time of hire, the applicant must be enrolled in a Master’s degree in nursing program with a degree completion plan in place upon hire.
• Must hold current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse and current CPR certification.
• Three years of recent clinical experience required.
• Prior experience in teaching or precepting students preferred.

Qualifications

The Crouse Health Pomeroy College of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The college offers a two-year associate’s degree in applied science with a major in Nursing.

Responsibilities

Provides instruction for students enrolled in the Crouse Hospital College of Nursing

Evaluates students in a classroom, laboratory and/or clinical setting.

Adjunct faculty are expected to maintain regular, pre-planned contact with the semester chairs and/or nursing laboratory manager.
