Adjunct Instructor in Anthropology

About the role

The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences is hiring an adjunct instructor to teach part-time in the Anthropology major. The position will begin in August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to undergraduate coursework to the Anthropology major.
• Full responsibility for the course they are teaching, including course and syllabus preparation; grading exams, papers, and other assignments.
• Maintain a minimum of three office hours per week.

Requirements

• Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
• Earned Master’s degree and/or five years of teaching experience or other suitable professional experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
