Adjunct Instructor in Accounting
About the role
The Department of Economics, Accounting and Business at Converse University is seeking adjunct instructors for Fall 2026 to teach two courses: ACC 211 Accounting Principles I and ACC 380 Accounting Information Systems.
Responsibilities
- Teach ACC 211 Accounting Principles I: 3 credits, MWF 1:30-2:20 pm.
- Teach ACC 380 Accounting Information Systems: 4 credits, TuTh 2:30-3:45, with a 4th hour of online content.
- Use Excel in teaching courses.
- Deliver in-person instruction; open to consideration for online and/or asynchronous teaching formats.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Accountancy, or in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration, from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- A CPA or other relevant certification, or extensive work experience in accounting.
- Experience teaching at university level preferred.
