Adjunct Instructor - High School College Partnership, UMKC Curriculum and Assessment
Responsibilities
- Assist HSCP program staff in communicating department and program information each semester with approved high school instructors
- Visit approved high school instructor on-site and present discipline specific lectures on an annual basis as scheduled with the assistance of the HSCP staff.
- Annually review course syllabus in preparation for required on-campus in-service for approved high school instructors.
- Aid HSCP Program Director in planning and conducting in-service(s) and workshop(s) opportunities.
- Attend HSCP program conference and faculty liaison meetings providing professional development opportunities and encourage on-campus colleagues in the discipline to attend same.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Pay
Salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and course(s) supervised or taught.
Benefits
This position is not eligible for University benefits. Individuals in non benefit eligible positions may choose to participate in the Tax Deferred Annuity Plan (403b).
Schedule
Part-time, not eligible for benefits. FTE and pay will vary and contracts will be issued on a semester by semester basis as needs arise.
