Position Details
This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Language Development department and reports to the Department Chair.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more English courses during daytime hours
- Teach in afternoons and/or evenings (non-peak times)
- Use instructional technology in the classroom
Minimum Qualifications
- A mastery of the English language
- A commitment to excellence in teaching at the community college level
- A master’s degree or higher with a minimum of eighteen graduate hours in English
- Preference will be given to applicants with college teaching experience
Salary Range & Fringe Benefits
- Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,800 per 3-hour course for a master's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate
