Responsibilities
- Teach two college level Engineering courses in the Spring Semester: Statics and Dynamics.
- Teach these courses four days per week (Monday – Thursday) in an eight-week format.
- Courses may be taught in a hybrid format (partially face to face and partially online).
- Use instructional technology both in and out of the classroom.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree or higher with a minimum of eighteen graduate hours in Engineering is required.
- Preference will be given to applicants with college teaching experience.
- Candidates should have a mastery of Engineering and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
Salary Range & Fringe Benefits
- Adjunct faculty member salaries are based on level of education.
- Salaries range from $1,800 per 3-hour course for a master's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
- Benefits include Worker’s compensation, Limited Part-Time Retirement Plan.
- Kilgore College does not participate in the federal Social Security program.
