Job Description Summary

Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence; (3) technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies; (4) the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives.

All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Dental Assisting or related field
  • Graduated from a CODA-accredited dental assisting program
  • Prior college teaching experience preferred
  • Background in and knowledge of dental assisting procedures
  • Willingness to complete teaching methodology training

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Associate Degree in Dental Assisting or related field
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor degree
  • Minimum Experience: Two years of experience
