Adjunct Instructor, Chemistry (Dual Enrollment)

Job Responsibilities

• Teaches college-level chemistry courses at Gaffney High School
• Planning and delivering instruction
• Conducting laboratory activities
• Absessing student learning
• Maintaining accurate grades and attendance
• Providing timely feedback to students
• Ensuring a safe laboratory environment
• Following all college and high school policies
• Utilizing the college's learning management system
• Maintaining required course documentation

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a master's degree in a closely related discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry
• Prior experience teaching chemistry at the high school or college level
• Experience with dual enrollment instruction
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and college learning management systems
