Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and submit accurate academic records, including grades, attendance, and certifications.
  • Enhance instructional effectiveness through ongoing self-evaluation and by integrating current developments in teaching and learning strategies.
  • Develop and update course curriculum, including using appropriate technology.
  • Deliver course instruction in alignment with the master course outline and class schedule.
  • Aid in the preparation of materials required for maintaining ACBSP approval.
  • Participate in School of Business Division meetings and Institutional Adjunct training and activities.
  • Create and implement plans to effectively deliver the program curriculum.
  • Aid the college in ensuring technology, facilities, and equipment remain up-to-date.
  • Engage in professional development, including both college-sponsored activities and independent efforts, to remain current in the field of study.
  • Advise students as to appropriate courses for completion of the program of study.
  • Collaborate with counselors, advisors, and other college staff to address student needs.
  • Stay informed about industry, market, and competitive trends to support program relevancy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Human Resource from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of two years of experience. Entrepreneurship subject matter can substitute degree requirement for 7-10 years of successful business operations.
  • Professional certifications preferred.
  • Teaching experience at a secondary or college level preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.
  • Hy-flex synchronous teaching experience in the classroom and Remote meetings technology preferred.
  • Asynchronous Course Development and Instruction preferred.
