About the role

The Department of Business is seeking adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses at the Brooklyn campus. Courses will be delivered through various methods including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses in multiple delivery methods that may include face-to-face, online, and a hybrid/mixed delivery format.
  • Keep regular posted office hours (one office hour per course).
  • Participate in traditional functions that have academic significance, such as reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time.
  • May be required to teach off-campus or in an online environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate teaching excellence.
  • Must have an MBA or a master's degree in a related field from an accredited university. A CPA is preferred.
  • Have five years of substantial Accounting work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • MBA and teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses are preferred.
  • Experience in upper-level executive Accounting roles is also preferred.
