Adjunct Income Tax Accounting Instructor

About the role

The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the institution by teaching income tax accounting courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach income tax accounting courses at the college level.
• Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi and assignments.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional tax experience.
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of federal and state tax codes.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and software.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
