About the Role

The UNC Asheville Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach Mathematics courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics courses in the specified fields of expertise.

Requirements

• Doctorate or master’s degree in Mathematics (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
• Submit a curriculum vitae and a cover letter specifying areas of expertise, relevant teaching and/or professional experience, fields or courses of interest for teaching, and credentials qualifying the applicant for the specified courses.
• Additional materials may be requested to finalize employment.
• Provide official transcripts for the highest earned degree and/or the degree used to satisfy credential/qualification requirements within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching and/or professional experience in Mathematics.
• Expertise and credentials to teach in the specified courses.
