About the role

Teach German at Lincoln Land Community College's main campus in Springfield for face-to-face classes. Opportunities to teach online courses may be available in the future.

Responsibilities

• Teach German classes at the college level
• Participate in required online teaching training
• Comply with in-person teaching requirements

Requirements

• Reside in Illinois for the duration of employment
• Qualifying assignments for State Universities Retirement System (SURS)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in German or related field
• Teaching certification or equivalent experience
• Experience teaching German at the college level

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of current pedagogical methods and resources
