Adjunct, Finance Technology

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses as scheduled.
• Designs and supports a range of appropriate learning activities considering individual differences of students.
• Identifies and responds to students with academic or other needs using appropriate resources.
• Utilizes technology in courses and communicates clear expectations about its use to students.
• Keeps accurate and appropriate records in accordance with departmental policies.
• Maintains attendance records, determines and submits grades timely, and communicates progress feedback to students.
• Distributes and maintains accurate syllabi that incorporates departmental, college, cross-college, and instructor requirements.
• Counsels students on academic and personal issues and refers them to appropriate support services.
• Engages in periodic meetings with the department, Lead Instructor, and Chairperson relative to teaching duties and professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance and two (2) years of Finance experience OR a Business related Master’s degree with required Graduate-level coursework above foundational courses in finance and two (2) years of Finance experience.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience preferred.
