Responsibilities
- Teaches assigned courses as scheduled.
- Designs and supports a range of appropriate learning activities considering individual differences of students.
- Identifies and responds to students with academic or other needs using appropriate resources.
- Utilizes technology in courses and communicates clear expectations about its use to students.
- Keeps accurate and appropriate records in accordance with departmental policies.
- Maintains attendance records, determines and submits grades timely, and communicates progress feedback to students.
- Distributes and maintains accurate syllabi that incorporates departmental, college, cross-college, and instructor requirements.
- Counsels students on academic and personal issues and refers them to appropriate support services.
- Engages in periodic meetings with the department, Lead Instructor, and Chairperson relative to teaching duties and professional development.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance and two (2) years of Finance experience OR a Business related Master’s degree with required Graduate-level coursework above foundational courses in finance and two (2) years of Finance experience.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience preferred.
