About the Role

Support the goals and mission of the college by providing quality instruction to students in Basic Nursing (BNAT) courses. Courses include lecture, lab, and clinical components and are offered during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Classes may be scheduled during the day, evening, and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in lecture, lab, and clinical settings
• Communicate effectively with department chair or administrator

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Minimum of two years (2000+ hours) of clinical nursing experience
• Long-term care experience preferred
• ADN-prepared nurses must complete the IDPH Train the Trainer Course for Basic Nursing Assistant Instruction and provide a valid IDPH Instructor Code

Schedule

• Various shifts available: days, nights, and weekends

Pay

$1,162 per Equated Credit Hour (ECH)
