About the role

The Gerrish School Of Business is currently seeking adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate business courses for the 2026-2027 academic calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Teach foundational business courses and major-specific courses for the following business majors and minors: Accounting, Business Analytics, Construction Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Events Management, Fashion Merchandising, Finance, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, International Business, Management, Marketing.
• Courses are in-person unless noted otherwise. Each lecture course meets for 3 hours a week (two 75-minute sessions or three 50-minute sessions).
• Instructors are expected to deliver the course(s) in person in their assigned time blocks through the entire semester.
• Able to abide by Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s Faculty Handbook.
• Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.
• Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
• Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
• Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.
• Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.
• Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
• Use Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s degree is required.
• College-level teaching experience is preferred.
