Adjunct Faculty - Theatre and Dance

Job Duties

• Design and deliver course content for credit courses
• Prepare lesson plans and course materials
• Assess student learning
• Assign grades
• Refer students to support services
• Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students
• Participate in appropriate department/unit meetings
• Abide with USNH and KSC policies

Requirements

• Master's degree in Theatre and Dance or related field
• Experience teaching theatre and dance at the college level
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of theatre and dance pedagogy
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in theatre and dance software
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Pay

Pay Range: $800 per credit; $840 per credit for a terminal degree
