About the Course
This course provides a study of the theory and practices of accounting for income taxes of individuals. Students explore the responsibilities of a tax accountant and specific transactions that affect the tax liability of individuals.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate classroom instruction and discussions
- Engage students in achieving course learning outcomes
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Incorporate current industry knowledge and best practices into teaching
- Support the mission and values of Grand Canyon University
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's in Accounting (MSA) or Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- 3 years public accounting experience or 5 years corporate accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD/DBA in accounting or other business related discipline
