Adjunct Faculty - Space Architecture

Primary Responsibilities

• Teaching graduate-level courses in areas such as space systems, space operations, habitat design, and space mission planning
• Contributing to project-based instruction and interdisciplinary design studios
• Supervising student projects within coursework and supporting MS thesis activities
• Mentoring students and engaging in programmatic and instructional activities

Qualifications

• Hold a Master of Science or PhD degree in Space Architecture related fields (e.g. Human Factors, Habitability, Human-Machine Interactions), Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field
• A PhD is preferred
• Candidates with a Master's Degree and significant, relevant industry or government experience in space architecture, aerospace, space systems, or related areas will also be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace or space systems design instruction
• Experience with project-based or studio-based teaching environments
• Relevant professional or industry experience in space or aerospace sectors
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are required
