Adjunct Faculty – QA/QC Introductory Lab and Science

Responsibilities

• Instruct students on technical and soft skills for lab administration and operations
• Cover workplace safety protocols, professional PPE usage, equipment operation, chemical storage, measurement techniques, and inventory management
• Develop and administer assessments in various formats
• Provide feedback on subject matter and professional skills
• Ensure course quality and identify improvement tactics

Requirements

• Teach on-site in Worcester two days a week for 3-hour blocks
• Engage students in hands-on laboratory training sessions
• Collaborate with industry employees as guest speakers
• Create and curate course content including assignments, presentations, readings, discussion boards, quizzes, and exams

Qualifications

• Technical expertise in QA/QC related to biomanufacturing
• Experience teaching non-traditional adult learners
• Ability to deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions
• Knowledge of industry-standard equipment and regulatory compliance
