Adjunct Faculty - Psychology
Duties And Responsibilities
Instruct students in psychology courses, adhering to course descriptions and departmental guidelines.
Begin and end classes as scheduled, ensuring all learning outcomes are covered.
Maintain a positive learning environment and communicate with students weekly via email.
Evaluate students using various methods and inform them of their scores promptly.
Use Cleveland State email for administrative tasks and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
Meet deadlines for personnel paperwork, contract acknowledgments, academic activity reports, and final grades.
Submit requests for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and instructional aids through appropriate channels.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited institution or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of related qualifying fields.
Three years teaching experience preferred.
Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes recommended – hybrid, online, interactive, etc.
