Responsibilities
- Teach developmental and/or college-level courses, including distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
- Primarily face-to-face with the possibility of remote instruction.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ law enforcement work experience.
- Additional Considerations: A master’s degree in criminal justice or a master’s degree (in any related field) with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice courses.
Qualifications
- Expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
- Ability to come to campus for in-person learning and/or professional development.
Skills
- Must be able to operate a state vehicle.
