About the role
The College of Natural Sciences at GCU seeks adjunct faculty members to teach part-time, in-person courses at the Phoenix campus. Courses are scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Qualifications
- Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate in Chemistry with emphasis in Physical Chemistry
- Minimum: Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry emphasizing Physical Chemistry

Course: Physical Chemistry II Lab
This is a laboratory course designed to complement and support the principles being learned in CHM-444. Topics include quantum chemistry, molecular structure and spectra, molecular reaction dynamics, and statistical mechanics.
