About the role

The College of Natural Sciences at GCU seeks adjunct faculty members to teach part-time, in-person courses at the Phoenix campus. Courses are scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester, starting September 8, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Requirements

• Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate in Chemistry
• Minimum: Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction
• Ability to work in modern facilities with smaller class sizes
