Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for teaching the phlebotomy courses in Nursing & Allied Health Division. Under the supervision of the Medical Laboratory Technology Program Director, the primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality instruction and supervision of student learning while maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and laboratory instruction. The faculty responds to students in a timely manner and communicates with the discipline and division via college-provided tools and resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- Absorbed Associates degree or higher from an accredited institution
- National certification as a Phlebotomy Technician with at least 1 year of full-time experience, or equivalent work experience if not nationally certified
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Colegiate level teaching experience preferred
