Responsibilities

• Teach the following in-person courses in the Fall 2026 semester:
• PHL 100-02 Introduction to Philosophy: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00-3:15 PM
• PHL 100-03 Introduction to Philosophy: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4:45 PM
• Deliver courses in assigned time blocks.
• Absorb Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s faculty handbook.
• Use the course description and learning outcomes of each course.
• Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
• Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
• Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.
• Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
• Communicate with students outside of class using Endicott email.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s degree is required.
• College-level teaching experience is preferred.

Pay

Compensation per course is per 3-credit course, ranging from $1,100 to $4,700. This range reflects base pay only and is determined by course enrollment, spanning from the minimum rate for low-enrolled courses to the maximum established rate. This does not include other potential compensation or benefits.

Schedule

All courses are taught in person. In-person lecture courses meet for 3 hours a week in either a Monday/Wednesday/Friday 50-minute format or a Tuesday/Thursday 75-minute format.
