About the role

The role involves managing and enhancing the NEOGOV platform to ensure seamless job postings and applicant tracking systems. Responsibilities include updating job listings, managing user accounts, and ensuring data security.

Responsibilities

• Update job listings and manage job openings across various government agencies.
• Manage user accounts and ensure user authentication and authorization processes are secure and efficient.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and implement necessary security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and enhance user experience.
• Perform regular audits and maintenance of the platform to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development or IT management.
• Strong understanding of web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
